The course examines the key lexical aspects of translation, focusing on the rendering of word meanings, context, synonymy, phraseology, and culture-bound references from English into Lithuanian and vice versa. Through practical tasks, students develop their ability to select appropriate translation solutions, taking into account the linguistic, stylistic, and cultural contexts.
